Private Game

OK I am off to play in a home game at Hell's Kitchen (Thursday night), a no limit hold em freeze out, I will report on the outcome tomorrow.

UPDATE: came second, in the money, and I played ok, would have won if I had been dealt any decent cards at all, so fairly pleased with my play!

Pleasure to meet you on Thursday.

For my first live game, I was pleased I was not the first to be wiped out - was the fourth to go.

Highlight for me was getting one of the veterans to fold on the river and losing half his chips to me! Also amusing that the other beginner then in the next hand, took the other half, albeit with one lucky flush on the river.

Thanks for leaving your comment, I think your right about getting someone to fold being a highlight. Any fool can win with good cards. The beauty of the game is you can still win pots with garbage.
